It's been a little while since my last post hasn't it? It's also been a little while since I did a round up of how things were going. The timing seemed apt!
February and March have been filled with holidays, anniversaries, planning, and most of all working. I'm pumped for what's on the horizon. Here's a few highlights!
Coming Out of Drum Retirement
This is an older picture, but there aren't any available from the most recent show yet.
So, the last two weeks have been packed with life plus band practices and rehearsals again. A friend of mine from the Kimota Bombs needed a fill in drummer for his solo project. The fact it was a last minute show wasn't his fault (drama happens) and he handled it in the classiest way possible. I decided to help out.
Funny thing is, this got the old crew back together and playing again, which got us excited. This led to making the original Kimota Bombs lineup a thing again!
Working Through A New Series
On the writing side of things, that "Mystery Project Book" in the progress side bar? I'm a bit ahead on my schedule for Treason & Treasure (Exiles of Eire #2), so I've been working on a second series!
It features the lovely lady pictured above. I'll give more detailed updates and teasers as time goes on. At the moment, I'm almost done with the rough version of Book 2, so keep an eye out for more information on those.
Getting Ready for 2019 Releases!
For those wondering about how the sequel to Iron & Ivy (Exiles of Eire #1) is going, it's called Treason & Treasure and picks up right after the events of book one. No spoilers, but the intrigue and action really ramps up in this one.
Plans are in the works for the Iron & Ivy paperback edition, as well as the ebook and paperback of Treason & Treasure to come out at around the same time (late 2019). More updates to come as they happen!
That's what I've been up to recently in a nutshell! There's a lot in the works and so many exciting things to look forward to this year. Are you as excited as I am? What are your big accomplishments or landmarks coming up?
